Dominic Cooper

Our British Dream beau

A rakish U.K. lad with a flair for small but challenging roles, Dominic Cooper is dark, smart and oh-so-sexy. We're betting this Dead Man Down star is going to be a big time breakout star soon, so we're basking in his deliciously mysterious glow before he becomes a household name.

Why we love him

A serious actor with a face that makes us think only of playtime, Dominic Cooper is poised to be the next big thing — which is why we're paying him homage before the fangirls start swarming.

Dominic Cooper

Born: June 2, 1978

Hometown: London, England

Height: 5' 9-1/2"

He's an extremely versatile actor

Dominic has played roles as diverse as a vampire in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter to Saddam Hussein's brutally violent son Uday in The Devil's Double. Inhabiting difficult characters is all in a day's work for Dom, but inhabiting a historical figure like Uday onscreen was still a challenge, he says:

"All that I could think about when needing to get into his head space ... was that I suppose that he had an extremely volatile, awful upbringing,"he told NPR. "Any son of a dictator, I'm sure, has major issues with their relationship with their father. Saddam certainly didn't believe in Uday's military capabilities. He wasn't ever going to ... give him the reins of power."

We can't wait to see what he does with his newest role in New York City crime drama Dead Man Down, in theaters now.

He leads with his humility

So now that Dom's been in flicks ranging from Captain America to My Week With Marilyn, you'd think he'd feel firmly entrenched in the Hollywood scene. Not so, according to him. He's still counting his blessings.

"It’s funny, I never think I’m doing that well. I’ve never, ever. I just constantly think this isn’t working out. I feel very fortunate, always…"he told Collider. "There’s absolutely no security, there’s nothing saying that this will still be happening, or you will be doing something this exciting. You are just constantly ready to fall. But maybe everyone feels like that."

We know we do sometimes — let's commiserate a deux, Dom!

Dominc Cooper in Mama Mia

He's happy with his lot

His serious roles aside, he's also famous for one very different movie: Mamma Mia! Specifically, that scene in which he's astride a Jet Ski. But he's cool with fans coming up to him and chatting about his musical work . Here's what he told GQ about the ABBA epic:

"People come up to me all the time and say, 'Mamma Mia! is my favorite film, and when my grandmother was really ill, we all watched it together. It made us really happy.' That means a lot."

We have the sudden urge to rewatch that film — and Dominic's entire filmography.

Dominic Cooper's relationship status

Amanda Seyfried, Dom's co-star in Mamma Mia!, famously said in 2011 that he broke her heart. But that's all in the past — he's currently dating actress Ruth Negga, whom he met back in 2009, when they were co-starring in Phaedra at London’s National Theatre. The boy loves his leading ladies, that's for sure. He's tight-lipped about his personal life for the most part, but he has said this about dating women he works with:

“I have a feeling that has a lot to do with youth,"he told the U.K.'s Telegraph, "but also because there are parts where for 12 hours on that day you are portraying someone who is so in love that they are on the cusp of insanity — so you can understand that dynamic chemistry.”

And we understand why they'd be game to tangle with Dom!

We know he has moves like Jagger on the dance floor, but we've become increasingly interested in Adam Levine's in-the-bedroom maneuvering ever since The Voice began gracing our television sets. Pair that with his catchy vocal stylings for Maroon 5 and a good long look at his toned-and-tatted torso, and stick a fork in us — we're done.

Why we love him

Epically cool with a dash of counter-culture spice, this frontman is the stuff fangirls' dreams are made of.

Adam Levine

Born: March 18, 1979

Hometown: Los Angeles, California

Height: 5' 11-3/4"

He's sexy as hell

If you've passed a newsstand lately, you'll see Adam looking ever so comely on the cover of Men's Health. In addition to his hot tattoos and so-appealing-it-should-be-illegal T-shirts and jeans, he's been known to step up his game on date night :

"When you look at anyone who is considered a fashion icon, the clothes are always a collage of different looks and moods,"he told the magazine. "I love waking up, throwing on some yoga pants and hanging out all day looking like a psycho. And then that night I'll throw on a suit and go out looking like a businessman. I love that flexibility. I wouldn't do any of this s*** if it weren't fun."

He also has a brand new fragrance , named appropriately, Adam Levine.

Tell us, Adam: If we spritz it on an unsuspecting male, will he turn into you, like John Stamos in those yogurt commercials? Because we hope so.

Adam Levine performing

He has a silver tongue

Watch even one episode of The Voice, and you'll come to the conclusion that we have: Adam Levine could talk us into anything. Anything. The power of persuasion is a special gift of Adam's. And we haven't even covered his singing voice. When Women's Health pressed him to chat about the sweet-sounding contents of his lyrics, here's what he said:

"I like to be able to open up and be sensitive,"he said. "Making yourself vulnerable is a huge step, especially for a guy. It makes you feel great, but it also puts you in harm's way."

Sounds like the makings of a popular song... and a certified way to get panties to drop everywhere you go.

Adam Levine laughing

He can laugh at himself

We loved watching Adam host Saturday Night Live this past January, specifically when he performed in a skit spoofing The Voice with comedy veterans Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld. Oh, who are we kidding: We just liked the part when Diaz encouraged Adam to take off his shirt. Watch the video here!

We love surprise shots of nekkid Man Candy on network TV.

"Making yourself vulnerable is a huge step, especially for a guy. It makes you feel great, but it also puts you in harm's way."

Adam Levine's relationship status

The boy has a taste for models, no doubt. His list of exes includes Victoria's Secret stunner Anne Vyalitsyna — and he's been dating yet another VS model, Behati Prinsloo, since mid-2012. But don't look for Adam to be settling down anytime soon.

"The most important thing about marriage is understanding that it might not be the right time, regardless of what your friends are doing,"he told ELLE. "Peer pressure is a motherf*****. Peer pressure plays a huge role in people's desire to get married."

Adam, if you ever find yourself in need of a non-model companion, we want to see your smooth dance moves in person!

We're freaking for this freckled Brit

Dress him up in a tux at the Oscars, or dress him down in tattered period clothing in Les Miserables— there's no obscuring Eddie Redmayne's utter fair-skinned cuteness and sheer likability. Move over, Prince Harry: Eddie might be our new favorite redheaded Brit.

Why we love him

This Tony winner manages to present himself as both vulnerable and distinguished at the same time. How's that possible? All we know is that the combo makes us weak in the knees.

Eddie Redmayne

Born: Jan. 6, 1982

Hometown: London, England

Height: 6' 1"

He's adorable in the present... and in the past

Historical film roles have been Eddie's bread and butter — recently we've watched him croon as Marius Pontmercy in 2012's Les Miserables... and gallivant with Marilyn Monroe in My Life With Marilyn. Plus, let's not forget about his earlier films: The Other Boleyn Girl and Elizabeth: The Golden Age, among others.

"I feel like I've worked my way through the Medieval period into the Elizabethan period, and now having done My Week With Marilyn along with Savage Grace, I've done the '50s and '60s,"he told Interview. "I was just on a film in North Carolina, and it was set in the '80s. I'm sort of, step-by-step, working my way into the modern day."

We don't mind if Eddie stays in the past for a bit longer — especially when we're picturing him ripping off our Elizabethan bodice.

Eddie RedmayneHe's a sexy ginger — but has stayed humble

We already knew Eddie was multitalented, but did you know he's an honest-to-God model? The chap has even scored contracts modeling for quintessential English luxury brand Burberry. But lest you think the attention has gone to his head, Eddie has repeatedly reassured the press he's still figuring it all out:

"Listen, acting is not surgery,"he told The Independent, "it's entertainment. You're doing something to hopefully move people, to make them laugh, to transport them. But actors are vulnerable, and the reason we're vulnerable is that we're always trying to re-create human behavior. And any human being has the right to look at that behavior and decide if it looks real to them or not. Everyone has that capacity for judgment, everyone can turn around and say, 'Sorry, but I just don't believe that.'"

"So if you have thin skin — and I don't have particularly thick skin — then your need to constantly please people, well... it's completely impossible. That's why I still feel I've got so much work to do, to really try and nail this thing."

We think you've done an amazing job so far, Eddie!

He has the voice of a angel

Sure, Eddie's won a Tony for his role in the Mark Rothko play Red, but singing on camera in Les Miserables was a whole different ballgame. Honing his voice was a workout in itself, Eddie has said.

"All that singing meant that I had to be healthier than ever,"he told W magazine. "To protect your voice you can't drink, and you are suddenly in love with your humidifier. I also kept thinking about the intensity and high expectations of the millions of people who have seen Les Miserables on the stage. Basically, I was in a state of anxiety during most of the making of the movie. Luckily, I find fear to be inspiring."

That hard work definitely paid off...

Eddie Redmayne's relationship status

Eddie Redmayne with girlfriend Hannah

Hardcore Les Mis fans wish Eddie were dating his costar Amanda Seyfried, who plays Cosette in the film, but that's not the case. Eddie rocked the red carpet at the Oscars with his publicist girlfriend Hannah Bagshawe, whom he's been dating for roughly a year. And Hannah has another little side job when it comes to dating Eddie: wardrobe consultant!

"I'm confused with colors,"he told People. "When I go out to premieres and events, I have to check with my girlfriend that the trousers match the top," he explained. “I recently wore a blue suit — and I had to ask her if it was really blue rather than purple. She assured me it was blue. I could not tell the difference."

He doesn't say much about their personal relationship, but he did say this: "I'm lucky to be with someone who is very supportive."

Aw! That's all you can ask for in a great relationship. Sounds like a great match!

There's something about classic movie stars that just gets hotter with age.

Exhibit A: Bruce Willis, who could be coated in dirt, sweat and the blood of his enemies, yet his gorgeous baby blues are what we're always — always— focused on.

Why we love him

Rough and tough with a pronounced soft side, this is one DILF who never goes out of style.

Bruce Willis

Born: March 19, 1955

Hometown: Idar-Oberstein, West Germany

Height: 6'

He's the definition of masculine

Movie buffs and wannabe badasses are still quoting 1988's Die Hard to this day, which makes Bruce the very picture of an American hero, really, but think about this: Rom-com fans and hopeless romantics still reference the TV show Moonlighting as the platonic ideal of witty banter and sexual tension in a would-be relationship. The push and pull between Bruce and his talented costar, Cybill Shepherd, is so classic it's taken up residence smack dab in the middle of our dating lexicon. And a lot of that has to do with Bruce. How he carries himself, what he transmits, how he looks... We love the variety — and he does too.

"Every film is a brand-new character, a brand-new set of muscles, a brand-new test of 'Can I do it?'"he told Reader's Digest. "And a lot of times I take roles, because I'm not quite sure if I'm gonna be able to accomplish what the script calls for. I'll read a script, and I'll say yes to it, but I don't know when I say yes how I'm gonna play a scene that's 60 pages down the road, that's two months down. I just rely on and trust my instincts that hopefully I will, by the time we've gone through 60 days of shooting, I will know what to do in that moment."

"Muscles," indeed.

He's still going, after all these years

Bruce's career timeline is fascinating when you look back at it: the original Die Hard, Pulp Fiction, Armageddon, The Fifth Element, The Sixth Sense, all the way to last year's Looper, and, now, G.I. Joe: Retaliation — and that's only a small fraction of his films. All told, Bruce has been in more than 60 movies, and he shows no sign of slowing down. At least... not yet.

"The middle years to now makes me start to think that there should come a time when I should not work so much,"he recently told GQ. "I don't question other actors in their age and what they do; I just think, 'Wow, they're still f***ing great.' They're still doing it. There are movies where if I know Anthony Hopkins is in it, I'll go see it. I'm still a fan of films, I still go to movies. I just saw Argo. It's fantastic."

And we think you're still pretty great too, Bruce.

Bruce Willis and kids
Bruce Willis with his daughters Rumer,
Scout and Tallulah in 2006

He's a good dad

Bruce looks like he's proven himself to be a responsible, attentive father, co-parenting daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah with Demi Moore, even appearing in photos with his entire family and her then-husband Ashton Kutcher. Even A Good Day to Die Harddirector John Moore said, "Bruce is a very good dad in real life, he's very protective of his kids and very decent and very realistic."

So what's the secret to being so cool?

"Sometimes I have to resist the urge to speak,"he told Esquire last year. "I learned it from dealing with my kids. That's my number one rule... It applies in life. But it's more about being a father. I'd rather hear what they have to say. You learn more by listening. And this stuff is just a matter of not equating drama with actions that will help them. Teach them to shun drama."

That's one tip we might steal for ourselves.

Bruce Willis and Emma Hemming
Bruce Willis and Emma Hemming in 2013

Bruce Willis's relationship status

When we think of Bruce's personal life, we immediately recall his marriage to Demi Moore, but he's now wed to another striking brunette, Emma Hemming, an actress/Victoria's Secret model who had her first child with Bruce, daughter Mabel Ray, last April. She seems to have had something of an enchanting effect on him:

"I went from ‘F*** love' to 'Love is truly the answer,'"he told W magazine in 2009, the year they got married. "I spent the last 10 years single and, for the most part, unhappy. In a dark place. I never thought that being with someone else was the answer. I would say, 'I’m alone, but I’m not lonely.' But I was just kidding myself. Then I started hanging around Emma, and on a day-to-day basis my life became much happier."

Awww, we love a good love story, especially when it happens to one of the manliest men on the planet.

What is it about smart guys who can make us laugh? Chris O'Dowd is a stone-cold fox anyway, but his comedic talent coupled with a knack for picking roles in projects we love make for one super-powerful aphrodisiac.

Why we love him

A comedic genius who just happens to be incredibly hot, Chris O'Dowd is the kind of guy you want to root for... and roll around naked with.

Chris O'Dowd

Born: October 9. 1979

Hometown: Sligo, Ireland

Height: 6' 3"

He even makes yuppies look hot

"Going out with other actors is never good; actresses are neurotic, and actors are horrendous egotists."

If you've been watching this season of HBO's Girls, you've already recognized Chris as free-spirit Jessa's yuppie, Williamsburg-dwelling husband, Thomas-John. We knew we were supposed to find Thomas-John, his turntables and his blind ambition lame, but we couldn't help but swoon a little whenever he appeared onscreen, with his scruffy facial hair and sweet smile. Of course, it certainly doesn't hurt that Girls writer/director/producer Lena Dunham is behind the character — and Chris is the first to acknowledge the power of great writing.

"For some reason, I find that in the course of my career I've worked with more women than most men have,"he told GQ. "It's just a coincidence, but the first major role [I had] was written and directed by a woman, and I think I've worked with maybe five female auteurs, and, I don't know, maybe there is something in female writing that I'm attracted to. I think, without being too cliché about it, that they obviously write women better, and I think it just makes the relationships more believable. I just am so tired of really badly written women. It's so boring."

Tell us more, Chris! We adore men who give credit to intelligent women.

Chris O'Dowd with wife
Chris O'Dowd and wife Dawn Porter

He was swoon-worthy in Bridesmaids

There's nothing like a man in uniform, and in Kristen Wiig's 2011 megahit Bridesmaids, Chris played the role of hot, caring cop oh so well. But according to Chris, self-effacing guy that he is, the character, not Chris, made him so desirable to women everywhere.

"'It was just a really well-written character,"he told the Telegraph. "I do think Saddam Hussein could have made that character sexy. He was a good listener, and there aren’t an awful lot of good listeners on screen, because it’s hard to write a good reactive character."

We're gonna have to disagree with you there, Chris — we love a good listener, but you're eye candy, whether you admit it or not!

He's a respected comedian

Sure, the public knows Chris from his prominent roles in high-profile films like This Is 40 and Friends with Kids, but you're missing out if you've never seen Chris as Roy, a grumble-prone tech guy, in the British sitcom The IT Crowd .

"A lot of IT people really love it, and I do hear a lot of women saying, 'Oh my God, he's just like my boyfriend,'" and all that," he told the British Comedy Guide. "People are very nice, and a lot of IT geek girls find Roy very attractive."

And we can see why... despite the fact that Chris recently said to British GQ, "I just don't think women look at me as sexual. They see me more like a guy they would like to set their sister up with. I play very sweet characters, so people look at me like I'm the kid from The Wonder Years, rather than Brad Pitt."

No way, Chris. We'd never give you away — even to our sister. The IT Crowd is now available on Netflix in the U.S., so check it out.

Chris O'Dowd's relationship status

We knew Chris would have impeccable taste in women! He's been married to British writer/performer Dawn Porter, whose documentaries have raised awareness for issues like breast cancer and cultural obsession with thinness, since last year.

“She’s relaxed and bright and great,” he told the Telegraph. “Going out with other actors is never good; actresses are neurotic, and actors are horrendous egotists.”

But Chris himself could never be an egotist, right? We love a pairing that's also a meeting of the minds!

and here we come!

The Bachelor may be over, but reality TV is just heating up, with a dating show following a trio of sexy guys looking for their respective Ms. Rights and using professional matchmakers as guides.

This show is on fire, and it hasn't even aired yet! We confess: We're making a snap judgment based on the sheer hotness of the guys in the show — and the fact that it's hosted by one of our fave celeb couples, Bill and Giuliana Rancic . Plus: In our book, three eligible bachelors are definitely better than one.

Tim Lopez

Hometown: Santa Barbara, California

Why we love him

Raise your hand if you've ever secretly wanted a guy to write a song for you. Us too! And if you're like us, hunky blond Tim is the guy for you: he's the lead vocalist and guitarist of the Grammy-nominated pop-punk band Plain White T's — yep, the same band who had mega-hits like "Hey There Delilah" and "Rhythm of Love" that went platinum.

Tim Lopez

But what we love about this rocker is his soft side: "I wrote a song that sold 1.3 million copies, when all I really wanted was to impress the one girl I let go."

Tim, we'd like to audition to take her place! Another bonus: He writes poetry. We're already picturing ourselves reading Keats to him right around bedtime...

Tim Lopez's relationship status

He married his high-school sweetheart, but he says that the distance and time he spent away from his wife while on tour led her to end the union. He says it was "devastating.""I've learned the balance between work and relationship is delicate," Tim says. "At the end of your life, when you look back, it's not like you're hoping to have your career at your side. You're hoping to have someone with you."

Ernesto Arguello

Hometown: Miami, Florida

Why we love him

Family values? Check. A yen for helping others? Check and double-check. This sexy civil and architectural engineer and son of Cuban and Nicaraguan refugees loves his fam and talks about them often. And it gets even better: The philanthropic organization that he founded builds houses and creates housing opportunities for citizens of Third World countries. Now that's a great guy.

Ernesto Arguello

"Being in love is something that's definitely missing in my life," Ernesto says. "Traveling as much as I do, it's kind of hard to find a person and get married... The girl of my dreams, she's out there somewhere. She can't hide forever."

We're right here, Ernesto!

Ernesto Arguello's relationship status

This jetsetter says his lack of love isn't for a lack of trying — he even flew to Paris when his sister recommended that he meet a certain woman there. "I'm looking for somebody that takes marriage as seriously as I do... My wife can expect to be the priority in my life. For me to literally live for her and live to make her happy."

Ben Patton

Hometown: Dallas, Texas

Why we love him

Ooh, nothing gets us excited like an all-American guy. Think former high school football player, Texas boy, son of doctors, and hospital CEO wrapped up into one suave, dark-haired package. His worldview goes beyond the South: He's traveled the world, helped build an orphanage in Uganda and even managed finances for the royal family in Abu Dhabi.

Ben Patton

"When you start to approach 30, you start to focus more on what's really important," he says. And that would be? Finding an amazing woman who likes him for him, not his status. We like what we see , Ben!

Ben Patton's relationship status

Though we're sure Ben has had no trouble snagging eligible Dallas women, he's looking to be a great dad someday . And his family — especially his sister — can't wait for him to find that special lady. "I love my family," Ben says. "Everybody's been waiting for me to say, 'Hey, you know what? Now I'm gonna focus on personal life,' and I'm ready to do that, and they know I'm ready to do that."
